'No Men Allowed' actress picked as int'l fest juror

Iranian actress Vishka Asayesh starring in ifilm movie 'No Men Allowed' has been selected as jury member at Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) in India.

Popular ifilm series and movies star will serve on the jury for 2020 PIFF along with experts from Germany, India and France among others.

She has been nominated 3 times for the best actress award of the Fajr Film Festival and won the Crystal Simorgh for best actress in a leading role in 2011 for No Men Allowed. This was the first time this award was bestowed to a female in a comedy role in the history of this festival.

‘Stairway to Heaven’, ‘The Recluse’, and ‘A Passenger to Rey’ are among the other TV series that Asayesh has starred in.

The inaugural ceremony of 18th Pune International Film Festival was held on January 9 with the event wrapping on January 16, 2020.
